WELCOME, VISITORS.
Awa and the Aether
- Awa is the most accepted name of the verse from which this edition of the Encyclopaedia Aetheros originates. Hence, as the world of origin, the most detailed listings are likely to be about Awa.
- The Aether is the most accepted name for the medium and/or conveyance allowing for travel between verses. Its function and even existence is highly controversial, since most sentient travel is achieved via areas of spacetime where verses effectively coexist (Gates). However, many verses are inaccessible through Gates, and can only be explored by directly transversing the "universal frame" of the aether.
